The Riu Vistamar Hotel is situated in a stunning location, in a fantastic holiday resort, along the cliffed coastline and where you can enjoy some fabulous, gorgeous views of the sea and the lovely, sandy Amadores beach, located in the town of Puerto Rico in the south of Gran Canaria.

There are 2 lovely swimming pools, both of which are heated in the winter but are perfect to cool off in after a long day sunbathing. There are sunbeds and umbrellas surrounding the swimming pool, so you can relax and chill out. There are also a good variety of different facilities for you to enjoy, including numerous sports and entertainment for everyone, such as entertainment for the children, to allow the parents a well earned break.
The rooms are very stylish, modern and comfortable. The majority of the rooms are twins, which can be turned into family rooms to accommodate more people. There are also suites, but these are only open in the winter. The food at the Riu Vistamar is excellent, as expected. There is a buffet restaurant, offering a wide range of dishes and the swimming pool restaurant, which offers Andalusian, Grilled or Asian cuisine for dinner. The hotel bars are the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing drink after a long day.
If you want to get to know the local area, there are a few stunning places to visit. A good place to start is to walk on the Paseo Costa Canaria where you will pass a tropical fauna and visit the Playa de las Burras, the Maspalomas dunes, the Playa de Amadores, the harbour of Mogán and more. The children will love the aquatic parks on the island. There are a variety of different facilities to find on the island including shopping malls, museums and numerous bars/clubs for a great night-life.

Arrived here on new years eve at 7pm, atmosphere was fantastic. We went for a gala dinner which was fantastic all the chefs staff and kitchen staff walked all the round the dining room...
